New here!

Hi all!

I just joined up and am really looking forward to this exchange!
I have been doing postcrossings and while that is really cool, I really look forward to sending a handmade goodie overseas, not just postcards!

I love handspun/handpainted yarns, so I really look forward to attempting to have some of my very own handmade yarn used in my scarf.
Hubby bought me a wheel to fill my funky yarn love (since skeins can go for well over 60 for 50 yards, eep!), so since we have so much time on this exchange, I will be busy trying to make my own yarns for my scarf!

Wheee!!!!

Just checking in

Hi, everyone!

I'm pretty excited about participating in the exchange. Excited enough that I have four patterns picked out (it all depends on the type of yarn requested) and I've already started one scarf (and I'm more than happy to keep it if my partner doesn't want it). I haven't been this excited about a scarf in ages.

Another New Person to Exchanges

Hi, I'm Leslie from Buffalo, NY. It looks like I'm not alone in being an exchange newbie.

We have a long winter here so I love having a variety of scarves to keep it interesting. This seemed like the perfect way to get more involved with other knitters and bloggers.

My blog is fairly new and has gotten away from knitting recently, but I'll post a link here in case anyone is interested.

I've already started looking at patterns and can't wait to start knitting!

A freind of mine wants to join but all she does is crochet...if someone wanted a crocheted scarf could she join?

I'm totally looking forward to this! Yay!
