I think I am on my way!
I am so excited, I was contacted by my pal and made contact with my receiver. I made a start with a very lovely yarn, Country Alpaca, but it was a false start, since the pattern was not right. I have since found a better pattern for this yarn, and am on my way. After reading my pal's blog, the yarn, in this colorway, seems just right, so I wanted to use it, and had to find a pattern to match it.

I like that colorway. I'm starting to regreat my questionnaire answer saying I like solids more than variegated. :) You have good taste!
and by "regreat," I meant "regret."
I would have never thought of putting those colours together, esp the blue but they are lovely. I also put greens with brown and cream but a blue hunting I may go...
