Hello~
I know that I am a bit behind in posting and I hope that I will be forgiven. I have sent an email to my pal and I also hope that my pal will like the scarf that I am knitting. I am having a bit of trouble with it and dont know quite how to fix it. I am following the pattern exactly and when I moved on to the open part of the scarf the sides of the scarf started getting weird. One side of the scarf is straight but the other side of the scarf is opening up on a diagonal. Maybe blocking will fix the problem. Here is a start of the scarf.

Hello,
have you checked to see if you still have the same number of stitches on the needles? To me it looks like you might have created extra stitches with the yarn overs...
I think that if the stitch number is correct then it shouldn't flare out like that on one side only... it would be on both sides.
