Yarn!
Yarn chosen! Two hours of wandering around my LYS yielded these yummy colors from the sale loft. The owner was nice enough to give me a deeper discount (another 5%) in an attempt to get somewhat near my budget! Let's just say the total wasn't twenty dollars...
The colors are actually darker and richer but this was the best picture I was able to get with my camera. So what is it? The top one is 8% cashmere, 22% silk, and 70% superfine merino. The darker one on the bottom 80% New Wool and 20% Cashmere. Soft doesn't begin to describe the feel of these wonders. If your my secret pal you won't have to worry about scratchiness. :-D
Now if the person who has me as their target would just get in contact! I guess I'm a worrier...

I imagine those colors are going to be lovely together.
Sometime you just have to turn a blind eye to budgets...the nicer yarn is usually more expensive and much nicer to knit with and wear.
ooooooh, I just want to rub that yarn all over my face.
I also went *way* over budget. But that's the nice thing about this exchange - I have a hard time buying expensive yarn for myself, but am happy to buy it for someone else. And even though I won't get to wear it, I'll have the fun of knitting with it!
whats really a hoot is my secret identity name is also GIGI so out there some poor suspecting recipients aren't sure who is knitting for whom!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let it be me!!
GORGEOUS! That yarn just begs to be pressed up against someone's face. What a great choice. Can't wait to see the pattern you choose for these.
