Watcha think?
I have started on Evelyn Clark's Estonian Garden Wrap. I am using Rowan's Cotton Glace. My pal lives in a warm climate, so I thought the cotton would be perfect. She said that she likes "jewel" colors. But, in certain lights, this "jewel" of a color sometimes looks like chartreuse! Yikes! Well, I'll keep on plugging along and see how it looks as it "grows" on me.

OMG! Dorene, it's just gorgeous! How'd I know you were going to pick that pattern?
It's very "jewel-like" indeed, and the pattern is just spectacular. Beautiful choice of pattern and yarn!
I think it looks beautiful! What a great yarn choice, too -- not what I would have expected with the pattern. Much more interesting!
Looks like a gem to me. Check out the peridot and demantoid garnet. I think your pal will be pleased.
you know, the hostesses will take any and all "unloved" scarves (wink wink) I think we won't be seeing this one. Simply breathtaking.
Very pretty.
Aw shucks! You guys have me blushing here ;>D I really do appreciate all the words of encouragment.
Oh this yarn is really beautiful and the pattern is fantastic. I'm sure your jewel loving pal will be thrilled with it.
I am happy to see that some one else is thinking beyond the box. What I am makking is also a wrap since it is much more practical in some climiates. I love the color chartreuse so I like the way your yarn looks.
I think I love it - if you're pal doesn't, you may adopt me:)
