This is a very snuggly, warm, homespun Merino/Possum fur scarf in a simple reversible rib pattern that got knit in a flash when I realised that the detailed Dayflower lace scarf in Soysilk wasn't quite meeting specifications. The wool comes from my hometown in Gore, New Zealand (location of Narnia and Middle Earth).

It's too hot to model this at the moment so I'm going to pop it into the post ASAP so it can spread its warmth and furriness to full effect.

Oh, Wow, Kate! Merino and Possum--fabulous yarn! This is just a marvelous scarf, and I can't imagine the recipient not loving it. I have one skein of a possum-merino blend, but haven't made anything from it yet. I really got it just to try it out, but liked it so much I kicked myself around the block for not buying enough to do more than make a healthy swatch.
