Finally Something I Love!

Well--it has been slow going, nothing was quite to my liking, but now I have it!--my pal likes purples and greens, so I am doing a ruffle for interest on My So Called Scarf pattern--I like the way the variegated wool blend is turning out--so I am a happy knitter!!!!

It's very pretty with the ruffle. I think it looks more finished.

For those of you who asked--I am using Encore Colorspun by Plymouth for the variegated and Country Style by Sirdar for the purple ruffle--I cast on 60 sts (double the number for the scarf width) and knit 5 rows with size 8's--switched to size 9's and knit 4 more rows. next row was k2tog across and a knit row--then I switched to the variegated and the My so Called Scarf pattern---At the finish I will have to attach the purple and knit 1 row, inc 1 st each stitch across row to get 60 sts and knit 4 more rows--then change to size 8's and k 5 rows--Thanks for your compliments!!
