hi Rose!! I used to be your neighbor... I grew up in the Tri City area. How's the knit scene? Any good LYS I should visit? Hope you have fun in the exchange!
There is a lovely store in Frankenmuth. Rapunzel's. They are dangerous though. Plenty of cashmere to make your heart cry out!
As far as the scene, I haven't met any other knitters except those online. I've got two toddlers and go to UM Flint full time- I'm thinking of starting some sort of stitch and bitch on campus, but nothing as of yet!
Hey there. I'm in your area...Check the Zehnder website before hitting Rapunzel's - they often have coupons that can be used on books, yarn, and tools! Threadbear in Lansing is FABULOUS, but overwhelms my senses.
