I got my person! And my yarn!
The moment I got my person I went down to the LYS and searched for the perfect yarn! It's Blue Sky Bulky in white, and I LOVE it! The problem is I can't find a single pattern that might work with it. Grr.
Does anyone here have any good super-chunky scarf patterns?

Have you tried http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/scarves.php
to see if there's scarves that would work with super chunky yarn?
I'd go for a ribbed or cabled pattern LOL.
