Blocking Advice
I am almost finished with my Branching Out Scarf and since I have never blocked anything before, I am looking for any helpful hints so my pal's scarf blocks its best. Thanks and I'm enjoying looking at everyone's beautiful scarves!

Elaine, what yarn did you use? Also, do you have dressing wires?
Check out the Yarn Harlot's blocking technique here:

Debi - I used Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK. What are dressing wires?!
Hi Elaine,
Dressing wires are made to use for blocking--you run the thin wires through the edges of the stitches, and then you have a perfect straight edge on each side (and top and bottom if needed). You still use t-pins, but just to hold the wire in place. It's much faster and straighter than simply pinning with straight edges.
Peaknit gave you a great URL for learning how to block, and what to use with what kind of yarn.
I use the wet soaking method for blocking Cashmerino. I always use dressing wires now, and can't imagine how I lived without them!
