Almost ready to knit

After touching base with my recipient I've decided on a beautiful lace leaf pattern from Vogue Knitting magazine and have chosen the yarn. I plan to play around with swatches this weekend to test out some twists and modifications to the pattern. Hopefully it will all work out and I can get right down to knitting the scarf.
