I have to wait till I get my recipients questionnaire so I know what yarn to buy. :) An excuse to buy more yarn is always welcome.
I won't swatch until I get the yarn, but I'm looking through stitch pattern books. I'm probably going to design my scarf with a little help from Barbara J. Walker! I can't wait to find out whether my recipient likes cables or lace or otherwise. If she's really openminded, I might do some mosaic knitting. :)
