Here is the start of my yarn for my scarf for my pal. It is a 100% soft Australian Merino that I have dyed myself in rich purples and blues. The photo doesn't do the colours justice, but it's a taste... yum, yum....

Amazing! I love to watch people spin. Not sure I could cope with it myself. What a truly lovely gift - a hand spun scarf.
It looks really nice! How thick is the yarn that you're spinning? Are you going to ply it?
