Colours I like: Pretty much anything to be honest. I do like bright, vibrant, funky colours as well as demure, elegant colours. I would the scarf to also reflect who ever made it, for instane if they were young and funky, then bright wouldbe cool, but if they were more sophiticated a demure classic colours would duit.
Colours not liked: Probably black or blue as I wear alot of these and like my scarves to be the accent colour of a plain outfit.
Fibres liked: anything soft and squisky, and warm and cosy. I am a fan of alpaca, cashmere blends (aren't we all) and soft wool. I suffer from alot of sore throats and colds in the winter so live in scarves (in and outdoors from Sept to March)
Fubres Hated/Allergies: Unfortuntately I am allergic to mohair and angora. 100% acrylics which are scratchy can make me itch. Noro Kureyon makes me come out is a rash to (unless it is felted, bizarrly).
Preferred length: I do like a long scarf. Ideally ine i can warp round my neck twice (if thin fabric) or once with ends to tuck into coat or jumper (if chunky) but a decorative scarf for accessory only would be just as welcome.
Solid or Variagated: Love both, which ever shows of the pattern best really
Cables, Lace or Textured: Either, any, or. I just love scarves.
Misc: I really don't mind about style, colours as long as it isn't made with fibres i'm allergic to. In an ideal world a scarf to to keep me warm whilst waiting for buses etc in the winter would be best, but if someone wants to make (knit or crochet) an decorative scarf then that would get just as much wear as I am a real accessory person. My winter coat at the moment is dark purple and my winter jacket is pink and navy. However, I am due to get a new winter coat which will probably be black or grey so any colour is fine. The less is goes with the stuff I have the better excuse to go shopping for new coats.
